Lisa Barahona is the principal consulting psychologist at About Therapy Camden.
With over 16 years experience as a psychologist and therapist, she has worked with various client groups such as families, children and adolescents, men and family relationships, young offenders and those addicted to alcohol and other drugs. Her professional training in Psychology has focussed upon relationships, social science, child and adolescent developmental psychopathology and psychoanalytic studies. As part of her professional development she has undertaken specialist training in a range of areas including couples and family systems therapy, clinical supervision, psychoanalytic psychotherapy and art therapy.
Lisa is a mother of 3, and has a particular interest in working with children and families in the areas of behavioural managment and family relationships, with women around the areas of motherhood and family realtionships, and with the clinical presentations of depression and anxiety.
Lisa is an accredited supervisor of intern psychologists with the NSW Psychologists Registration Board, and is registered as a provider with Medicare Australia.
