Olivia is a Registered Psychologist with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is an Associate Member of The Australian Psychological Society (APS). She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) from Monash University.
Having participated in suicide and intervention programmes, Olivia has extensive experience working with individuals in crisis care & is passionate about creating a genuine connection with others to promote their wellbeing. Olivia has over 6 years psychology experience where she’s been able to provide a professional and genuine first point of contact for clients. Her work as a Crisis Supporter with Lifeline has provided her with the skills to remain non-judgmental and provide a trusting space during a callers crisis.
Olivia has completed professional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Domestic and Family Violence (DFV). Olivia is eager to work with people from different lifespan stages with a particular interest in children and adolescents. She is passionate about assisting clients to focus on their strengths to enhance their quality of life. She has worked with individuals with a range of presentations, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, social skills, school refusal, trauma, suicide ideation, self-harm, anger management, relationship concerns, and perfectionism. Olivia is also trained to administer psychological assessments such as Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-IV), and Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V).
Olivia’s approach is client-centred and she strives to work collaboratively with all clients to improve their quality of life and create a judgement-free therapeutic space.
Registered as a Medicare provider, Olivia’s clients are able to receive a rebate for Psychological services, with the inclusion of a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), obtained from their GP. As an option, Olivia is also a registered provider with Medibank Private, ahm, BUPA and HCF. This provides her clients the option of utilising their private health (extras cover), should they not have a MHCP.
