Nicole Hampshire

Nicole Hampshire is a Registered Psychologist who works with individuals, couples and children across a variety of mental health concerns. Nicole has qualifications in a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) and is a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Nicole is trained in a number of modalities such as CBT, Trauma Focused CBT, Solution Focused, Family Systems and Couple therapy and Mindfulness Meditative Practices. She has extensive experience in crisis care, depression and anxiety, working with couples, parents, grief, loss and trauma. Nicole is also trained to administer psychological assessments such as Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale for Adults (WAIS-IV), and Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V).

Nicole is qualified to provide counselling services to workers in the NSW workers compensation scheme and has completed her NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) Workers Compensation Allied Health Practitioner training.

Registered as a Medicare provider, Nicole’s clients are able to receive a rebate for Psychological services, with the inclusion of a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), obtained from their GP. As an option, Nicole is also a registered provider with Medibank Private, ahm, BUPA and HCF. This provides her clients the option of utilising their private health (extras cover), should they not have a MHCP.

Nicole has worked as a Psychotherapist and Provisional Psychologist at About Therapy since 2018.
